Wondering...

So I was just wondering...

What makes everyone tick? How do you make decisions to do or not to do something? Have you ever sat back and analyzed your thought process that you go through every day for small decisions and how you might act differently or think more on it if it were a big decision? How do you decide which is right? Moral? Is in your best interests, or the best interest of your character? How do you decide when its okay to be selfish, when you should leave things be, when you should push for answers, when you should follow your heart, your instincts, or your head? Cause we all know that they point in two entirely different directions most the time. How do we all weigh the experiences we go through in our lives, which ones define us, and which ones merely fill up space? Why is graduating college any more important than that one night you said is something you regret? Which one defines you more- the diploma or your interactions? Which is more important- truth, happiness, fate, or power? Can you have an answer that satisfies them all? Do we make decisions in spite of the fact that we know we are compromising our character? Do people really and honestly live by the values they preach? (uh, i think not). Do you think we think too much or too little about the everyday occurrence? And finally, do we learn from past mistakes? If not, then we have missed the point of life.

I think....

Life is a learning experience, we are designed to fuck up but we would be wise to learn from it. We should constantly be trying to better ourselves in everyday life- otherwise, those "unimportant" events are just wasted time and tend to leave you stagnant as a person. (this is why people who graduated high school 5 years ago---are still in a way in high school). They don't think or care about how their little decisions affect other people and their own overall character. Have you ever thought about what those little white lies really do to people? Just think about how many times you have told someone that you "have to do something"....was someone really pointing a gun at your head? Or was it really just some lame excuse? Or have you ever had someone tell you to tell so and so that they said hi? You said you would tell them right? But how often did you ever relay the message? Did you think about how such a small gesture might so randomly make someone happy to know that another was thinking about them and wanted to send some love? or did you just assume it was a suggestion or an insincere act? I know I like hearing from someone and having them tell me that so and so said hi and thought of me the other day when they were doing something or other. Anywho- just a suggestion- think a little more about how your words and actions may affect the ones you care about and you may realize your not so much the person you would like to be...and if you don't care, well then I'm sorry for you, really i am. I'm sure many of us try to be the best friends, boyfriend/girlfriend, family member, and person that we can be. But sometimes it can be healthy to take a step back and look at your reasoning and where it has gotten you. You may just have a revelation. or not. but but hey- I'm just doing what the little voices in my head are telling me to do.

So...

follow your head, your gut, your heart, and your instincts. Make conscious decisions. Tell the truth. Make an effort to forgive someone tomorrow then make an effort to admit something to yourself. Make someone smile, and smile yourself for no apparent reason. Don't talk about being the person you want to be, just be that person. But first, think about who exactly that is. Have hope, believe in something, take a risk, play it smart, live life, and find another reason to love who you are.
